Napoleon Bonaparte said “secrets travel fast in Paris” and that’s just how we came across Hotel Keppler.
Just blocks from the Champs-Élysées and the city’s most heroic monument, the Arc de Triomphe, sits this classic Parisian bolthole on a tiny rue of the same name. A Hausmann-style building, it was developed into a hotel by the famed designer Pierre Yves Rochon with the “intent to offer each guest a refined yet comfortable atmosphere ... a celebration of elegance and warmth”. Once a private mansion, it has now played our home away from home – only it’s far grander than any home we’ve ever lived in – with its embossed mirrors, artwork from the Galerie Françoise Durst and many places to close your eyes and rest your head. A lot of things are said about Paris. Some people say it’s a place to find love, others a place for artistic inspiration, this time, for us it was a place to make our own. We’ll share it with you, but try not to tell anyone.
