Palm Beach update
Two of the area's top hotels undergo renovations
By: Stacy Small
Everyone in Palm Beach is breathing a big sigh of relief that we got through hurricane season without a major storm. That's especially great news for two of the area's top hotels, The Breakers and The Ritz-Carlton, Palm Beach as both underwent major renovations/upgrades and are looking better than ever in time for the "season."

Sales Manager Valerie Lund recently gave me a private tour of the Breakers' brand new Beach Club, which features posh $1,000/night air-conditioned beach bungalow/private cabanas (complete with outdoor showers, big-screen plasma TVs, room service, internet access and spacious lounging areas--inside and out); a new casual tropical poolside Ocean Grill, a "quiet" pool, an "active" pool (pictured above) and an overall Hawaiian tropical feel. Spending time at the Beach Club is reason alone to book a winter vacation to Palm Beach!
For its part, the Ritz- Carlton Palm Beach shut its doors for four-plus months (reopening date is set for around Thanksgiving) to spend mega-bucks on room re-dos and a fresh new decor from the lobby to the restaurants throughout the public space. Next summer will see the opening of the hotel's world-class spa, but there's no reason to wait. The weather is perfect and Palm Beach awaits!
If being right on the beach isn't top priority, we also love The Chesterfield for its upscale European charm and newly redone stylish rooms (not to mention,

close proximity to Worth Avenue). Regardless which hotel you choose, you'll enjoy an incredible stay in Palm Beach as we have the inside connections to get you reservations at the best tables in town (Chez Jean-Pierre is a must!), can set up private guided tours, personal shopping excursions, boating trips, priority tee times and more.
