Everything about this hotel and my suite was like walking into the perfect Parisian apartment that you have spent years dreaming up. It’s an incredible hotel.
The legendary designer Martin Margiela kindly put the finishing touches on all corners of this hotel. It struck the perfect balance between the Paris from years past mixed with modern Parisian rock chick.
My suite was all white, typical Margiela. The door stops were shaped like hard boiled eggs, the cornices had been chopped up and taken from their usual place, divided and placed all over the walls. You are walking into design heaven. Finding the cupboards to open was like a new French game to play. I spent my time running my hand along the wall only to squeal with delight when I found it . The baths are enormous, and the washed linen sheets are such a good touch.
The staff are the most hip Parisians I have come across in a long time. The location is the best. I beg anyone to differ. Any hotel that is walking distance to Avenue Montaigne and my fave lunch spot L’Avenue is the place for me. I love this hotel. LOVE!
