Ambassador Hotel Review – Claridge’s

- Neil Perry, Chef

Neil Perry

Neil Perry is one of Australia’s most influential chefs. Today, he concentrates on his flagship brand, Rockpool, which includes an array of restaurants, and leads a team of consultants to Qantas Airways on menu development. He is also an author of five recipe books and a television presenter on The Lifestyle Channel.

Claridge’s is located right in the heart of Mayfair – arguably London’s best shopping district – tantalizingly close to Oxford St., Regent St., Marylebone, High St. and Soho. If you are looking for a location that promises a true London experience, Claridge’s cannot be beat.

If you like old world charm and perfect British hospitality then you will feel right at home here. The rooms are elegant, yet comfortable, charming yet sophisticated.

High Tea at Claridge’s is not to be missed. Held in the opulent Art Deco foyer, High Tea is a classic English tradition that is executed so perfectly in this hotel it makes you feel like royalty. If you need a place to hole-up for a late night cocktail dinner, the hotel bar is very good.
