Review

The Maria Cristina is a stately hotel in the heart of San Sebastian – one of the great gastronomic cities of Europe. There are more Michelin starred restaurants per capita in this region and than anywhere else in the world. The Maria Cristina is at the centre of it all.

The Maria Cristina is in the old town overlooking the Urumea River. An abundance of great restaurants are in easy walking distance as are some really great Pintxos bars.

If you love old world grandeur then you’ll love this hotel. The rooms are luxurious and spacious, bigger than most we have stayed in in Europe.

The gym and pool are great. The perfect place to work off the countless outstanding meals we enjoyed!
