Review

The Peninsula is located in downtown Chicago near the hustle, bustle and excitement of the Miracle Mile in the heart of the city. From the moment you arrive, the Peninsula Chicago delivers. The service is amazing, the rooms comfortable, the spa and gym world-class. When you take all those things into consideration, The Peninsula Chicago is hard to beat.

The rooms are not huge, but the space is well utilized. It’s great to be able to fit two suitcases in the dressing area – rare for most hotels.

There are lots of good restaurants in Chicago and I caught a glimpse of the buffet being served within the hotel and it looked like a great option.

If you want to relax in true Peninsula style then the spa is amazing. Plan on getting a massage, but be sure to leave yourself enough time to relax in the swimming pool afterwards. The gym is well-equipped with state of the art machines, including a Powerplate, which I’m told is a pretty big deal.
