Check-in: The Ritz-Carlton Tokyo

En route to the Philippines, my husband and I made a quick four-day stopover in Tokyo, Japan. Our first order of business when arriving in the city’s mid-town Roppongi district was to check into the Ritz-Carlton, Tokyo.

The Ritz-Carlton, Tokyo just happens to be the tallest building in Tokyo, occupying the top nine floors of the 53-story building. Ushered up to a suite on the 51st floor, we were overwhelmed by the blanket of cityscape from our view, including the Tokyo Tower and Mount Fuji.

The morning welcomed a sunrise view from our breakfast table at the Tower Grill located in the hotel. It is one of the best ways to enjoy a cup of coffee during your stay.

Adding to the wow factor is the luxurious bathroom in the suite. After a day of hoofing it around Tokyo it’s a welcome comfort to relax in the soaker tub and rejuvenate for the city’s nightlife adventures. Or just to relax in the room’s lush king sized bed. Take your pick.
