Tribe – the Village Market Hotel in Nairobi recently held a fashion show called Tribal Chic raising money for NEST (a project for the rescue, rehabilitation and integration of children in conflict with the law and children of imprisoned mothers).
About 16 local models displayed designs from four world-class designers: Kondakis, Kooroo, Zebu and Penny Winter. About 100 fashion enthusiasts were in attendance.
