The line up has been announced – Kanye West, Arcade Fire, Kings of Leon and The Strokes will be headlining at Coachella this year. That’s right, from April 15-17, some of the best musical talent will be performing in the dry heat of the Coachella Valley desert in Southern California.

The Lineup

Other confirmed acts include Duran Duran, Lauren Hill, Broken Social Scene, Erykah Badu, Nas & Damian Marley, Chromeo, The Chemical Brothers, Lauryn Hill, Bright Eyes, The Black Keys, Animal Collective, The National, Interpol, Big Audio Dynamite, and Cee-Lo Green.

Additionally on the roster: Cut Copy, Empire of the Sun Jimmy Eat World, Wire, Paul van Dyk, Raphael Saadiq, Ellie Goulding One Day As A Lion, Wiz Khalifa, The Swell Season, Gogol Bordello, Fistful of Mercy, Menomena, Elbow, Neon Trees, Titus Andronicus, Cage the Elephant, Crystal Castles, Klaxons, The New Pornographers, Yelle, A-Trak, Magnetic Man,Flogging Molly, Omar Rodriguez Lopez and more!

The cost for a three-day pass is $269.00  and VIP passes go for about $600. Tickets go on sale on Friday, January 21st at 10:00AM PST.

Now, the big question – where to stay?

If you want to be walking distance from the venue, then your options are restricted to camping, a budget hotel or a condo rental. But for those of you who prefer to avoid staying at a dodgy Holiday Inn Express or camping out with thousands of concert goers in the dessert heat, you should opt for a hotel a little further away from the concert venue. La Quinta, Rancho Mirage and Palm Springs are a short drive, but you can stay in a beautiful hotel, shower daily (a non-option for campers) and relax poolside before and after the concerts.

Everything is getting booked up quickly and these are the last few hotels with availability.
