Collette Dinnigan

Collette Dinnigan is one of Australia’s most iconic fashion designers. Her career has spanned over 21 years and she has shown collections in Paris almost every season. She has dressed over one hundred internationally acclaimed actresses and has a strong retail presence worldwide.

Her list of awards is long and includes Louis Vuitton’s Business Award, an Award of Excellence from Fashion Group International and, in both 2001 and 2003, recognition as one of Australia’s 50 Most Beautiful Exports. In 2005, her image was put on a stamp by Australia Post as part of their Australian legends campaign. Her celebrity status was confirmed in August 2006 when Collette appeared in the American Express “My Life. My Card” campaign, alongside Robert De Niro, Anthony La Paglia, Kate Winslet, and Venus Williams. The following year she was honoured with Olivia Newton John at the G’DAY USA event in New York.

In 2009, Collette formed an on-going collaboration with internationally acclaimed luxury brand Dom Perignon and has created the fourth international “Dom Perignon Lounge, designed by Collette Dinnigan” at Kiwi Collection’s Establishment Hotel in Sydney, Australia.
