Fresh Picks: Ballyfin

- Joy Pecknold, Passport blog editor

“Fresh Picks” features the latest luxury properties admitted into the Kiwi Collection. This week, we take a peek inside Ballyfin.

Where: This 18th century Irish estate sits on 600 emerald acres in County Laois.

What: 15 rooms lovingly and resplendently restored. White pillars, golden cornice, gilded flourishes framing bygone landscapes and Louis chairs are just a few of the finer things.

Who: Lads and lasses wishing they could live in another time period. Might as well make it a mansion.

Why: Pool, spa, croquet, tennis, archery, falconry, fishing, horseback riding, walking, reading… that ought to cover it.
