Fresh Picks: Hotel Fasano Boa Vista

- Joy Pecknold, Passport blog editor

“Fresh Picks” features the latest luxury properties admitted into the Kiwi Collection. This week, we take a peek inside Hotel Fasano Boa Vista.

Where: Set apart some 60 miles from the São Paulo on nearly 2,500 acres of quiet green space in the Porto Feliz (Portuguese for “Happy Haven”) municipality.

What: Designed by Brazilian architect Isay Weinfeld, the hotel’s 27 rooms and 12 suites manage to be all at once warm and minimalistic by blending clean lines with natural elements. There are two 18-hole golf courses on the property, one conceived by Randy Thompson, the other Arnold Palmer. Horseback-riding is another highlighted activity, as is fine dining.

Who: Mod golfers who want fairway without forfeiting style.

Why: It’s summer in São Paulo right now. Wouldn’t you like to pitch yourself into that infinity pool?
