Fresh Picks: The Farm at San Benito

- Joy Pecknold, Passport blog editor

Fresh Picks features the latest luxury properties admitted into the Kiwi Collection. This week, we find peace, quiet and pampering at The Farm at San Benito.

Where: In the Philippines, folded into the foothills of Mount Malarayat on what once was a coconut and coffee plantation and is now a veritable oasis.

What: Of the 24 villas and suites, the Master is the most magnificent with its private outdoor heated swimming pool and guest assistant, but really they’re all plush and inviting. The resort’s stand-out feature (other than the lush location) is its award-winning holistic spa services—raw cuisine, medical consultations, meditation, detoxifying treatments. There’s also plenty of activities, including yoga, trampoline dance, coconut tree climbing, and even golf.

Who: Serenity seekers and those wanting to kick-start new healthy habits in a heavenly setting.

Why: Because it’s easiest to get off the work hamster wheel and stay off it when you’re far away from it.
