This time of year marks a busy time for international filmmakers and industry professionals alike. With the 53rd London Film Festival rolling around, a lot of British talent and many international auteurs will flock to one of the world’s oldest movie celebrations in the British Capital.

From October 14th, 2009 through to October 29th, 2009, the London Film Festival will attract leading movie producers and international film stars to the red carpet. With a large public audience, the two-week showcase will screen 191 features and 113 short films of the best in contemporary world cinema.

As this year’s festival will bring Meryl Streep, Bill Murray, Julianne Moore, and George Clooney to the forefront, it means the city will be in full force.
