Novy Museum, the First Private Museum in St. Petersburg

Dedicated to Soviet underground and Russian contemporary art, Novy Museum is the first public private museum in St. Petersburg.

Aslan Chevhoev and his wife Irina have purchased over 300 paintings in the last five years creating a collection of photos and works on paper that will be on display. The Chevhoev’s intention for the space is to have both permanent and temporary exhibitions, which will be designed to acquaint  visitors with the best Russian and international contemporary art. photos: NovyMuseum.ru
