The Grand Opening of the 2009 Tour de France takes place across 15.5 km in Monaco on Saturday July 4th.
Events for the day kick off at about 12:30 p.m. This is when the course is fully closed off the race.

3 p.m. Marks the opening of the Tour de France Village
