With just 17 rooms, Albreda Lodge is exclusively for guests of Mike Wiegele's heli-skiing operation. It has a European lodge feel, with its huge timbers, luxurious rooms, and a cozy fireplace lounge.
Getaway packages, by the way, are all for complete seven-day escapes. They include your room at Albreda Lodge, guides for the mountain, exclusive helicopter service, and all your gourmet meals. You'll also get access to the special gear you need for deep powder, plus spa treatments, a ski shop, and even a climbing wall.

Location
Albreda Lodge is in the heart of Canada's Rocky Mountains, about 30 miles from the town of Blue River. To reach the lodge, most guests fly into the international airport in the city of Kamloops. From there, a complimentary bus drives the two and a half hours to Blue River, followed by a quick (and free) shuttle ride to the lodge.
