Located on the pristine Mediterranean shores of the city of Paphos, Almyra was the first seaside resort in Cyprus, and underwent extensive renovations in 2003. Each of the hotel's 189 rooms feature modern decor with wood, marble, and plush carpets, with large windows that let in the gorgeous sunlight. Some suites even feature rooftop terraces.
Guests can choose from four restaurants, including the al fresco Notios, which offers a uniquely Mediterranean version of "omakase," a series of tasting courses chosen by the chef. If you're looking for a more traditional experience, try Mosaics for salads, appetizers, and seafood.
Families are important at Almyra, so the hotel boasts a children's club, children's menus, and a children's pool. And while the kids have fun, adventurous adults can take an underwater diving adventure, parasail, or windsurf, while history buffs will enjoy the hotel's proximity to ruins and Aphrodite's legendary birthplace.
