Overview

Formerly a guest villa for the king of Cambodia, Amansara is a stylish and tranquil boutique resort close to the famous temples of Angkor Wat.

The temples of Angkor Wat are considered one of the most significant and beautiful historic sites in the world. This immense complex of carved stone is over 900-years old, and encourages hours or days of contemplation and exploration. Amansara is a boutique villa resort near the temples that provides luxurious accommodation for those wishing to visit the site in style.

The hotel itself is a historic site too, originally built as a guest villa for Cambodia's King Norodom Sihanouk. It has just 12 suites, each spacious and comfortable. Stone floors and dark wood contribute to the stylish minimalism. Ceiling fans and AC assure your comfort on those hot, tropical days.

The private garden in the middle of the villa is home to a swimming pool, shade trees, and loungers for lazy afternoons. The ruins at Angkor Wat are not the only site in town. Siem Reap has a wealth of exotic marketplaces, restaurants, bars, and temples to explore.
