Can you say Zihuatanejo six times fast? No? That's not a problem, as Amuleto isn't a place where you'll be pressured to engage in any difficulty whatsoever.

100 meters above the sandy beaches of Zihuatanejo, Amuleto offers a new perspective on Mexican vacationing. Quite literally, the perspective is different - high-up that is. From warm wooden decks and crisp infinity pools, the view of the bay below is more dramatic than a Mexican soap opera.

Flowers seem to grow out of every nook and cranny here, perfuming the air, and naturally framing days and nights with color. Thatched roofs hide ornate wooden and stone interiors, and airy suites featuring soft, king-size beds, plunge pools, hammocks, and outdoor showers.

At mealtime, white table clothes are unfurled over tables outside; they gently flap in the breeze, and act as an art-gallery-like canvas for the brightly colored food set in front of guests.

Later, the sun bids farewell in a show that has set hearts a-flutter since the dawn of time. Darkness lasts only momentarily, as the lights from the hill across the bay begin to twinkle.
