Anantara Phuket Villas

We have stayed in various villa properties throughout Asia and Anantara was probably one of our least favourites. We found the villa itself to be lacking in privacy, we could see into at least two other villa garden areas and could here people from at least four other villas. We also felt the layout of the villa to be inferior to other properties, no outlook, dark, etc and we didn't spend anytime in our outside area at night as it just wasn't particularly inviting.
The biggest disappointment for us was how many children seemed to be staying there or using the facilities. We always try to choose properties that are not child freindly to be sure that we get some peace and quiet. Two of our evening meals were spoilt by young children being allowed to use loud video games while couples were trying to enjoy their evening. Noisy games or children should not be allowed in the restaurants aftwr a certain time. We would not go back and we will be very careful about where we book in the futrure.

My husband and I had a wonderful experience in Anantara Phuket where we stayed for 5 days 4 nights. The pool villa is very private and we enjoyed the swimming and sun bathing in the private pool, as well as the outdoor bath tub. The public swimming pool with jacuzzi is really nice too - we saw the sunset there and with few drinks when staying inside the pool. The Sea Salt Fire restaurant is a highlight - the seafood is awesome!! We had dinner there for 2 nights!! We had a great time there :-)
Finally thank you for Kiwi Collection for suggestion of Anantara Phuket, otherwise we will definitely miss this enjoyment!!!
