You're sitting in an English garden, waiting for the sun to slip down the sky so you can enjoy a rousing match on Babington House's grass tennis court. A few hours ago you awoke refreshed beneath the exposed beams of your room at the Coach House, next door to the stately Main House of this private club and 23-suite hotel. A hearty breakfast at House Kitchen, and then it was off to the charmingly named Cowshed Relax spa for a massage and a dip in the pool.
