Wake up to complimentary coffee and homemade baked goods at Bedford Post Inn, a place full of pleasant surprises.
Sit back in a double soaking, antique claw-foot tub, close your eyes, and exhale slowly. As if their bathrooms’ color scheme of grey, cream, and light blue wasn’t relaxing enough… Bedford Post Inn also decided to import their tubs from Portugal.
Make time for much-needed meditation, relaxation, and exercise at this luxury inn’s yoga studio and dine at one of the property’s two impressive restaurants. The Farmhouse focuses on formal fare while The Barn offers fine food in a more casual environment.
There are just eight guestrooms here, designed and decorated according to five different room layouts. Most have working fireplaces and terraces that overlook the wooded property, and all are finished off with Frette linens and towels, as well as custom-made skincare products inspired by the area’s natural botanicals.
PS: If a fantastic wine and cheese cocktail hour sounds enticing, be sure to book yourself a weekend stay, where guests are treated to a daily cocktail hour between 4 and 5 pm.
