On passing glance, the Boscolo Exedra Nice may seem to be just another beauty in the pageant – but that would be a mistake. A big one.
By way of extensive renovations and restorations, the hotel has regained its modern relevance through a minimalist theme. 113 rooms are dressed all in white, recalling some Kubrick film you may have once glimpsed in a theatre. Welcome splashes of color glow in the spaces, like gold-tiled showers and floral antique chairs.
The spa is a modernist daydream, with curving walls, and large, organic-shaped fountains sprouting from the walls and pools.
Although it’s just a 10-minute wander to the shore, you may want to stick around the hotel for meals. Restaurant La Pescheria offers barely-out-of-the-ocean seafood, fresh pastas, and carefully chosen wines.

Deep Freeze from Staff
This is an interesting hotel. Probably one of the better ones in Nice but not great. Hotel restaurant is really weird. They give you the menu and with that they include the recipes of the meals they advertise. Quite off-putting. You just want to eat, not know the ingredients and how to cook it. At first I thought they'd given me the wrong menu. But no!!
Rooms were clean and spacious. We were upgraded to Junior Suite which was nice but no coffee machine which was odd for 5 star junior suite I thought. Good location but somehow the property didn't flow. Staff were ordinary and the place had no real character. All superficial. Spa swimming pool was horrible. Dark and stunk of chlorine.
