Castello del Sole's 11-hectare park features a bird sanctuary, botanical garden, farmlands, and private beach.
This is the kind of place that is always a pleasure to visit, whether alone or with friends and family. The private beach is so secluded that it often serves as your own personal beach rather than one shared with other hotel guests. Castello del Sole has the ability to make everything feel incredibly whimsical and luxurious, while intensely personal at the same time.
There are 38 suites and 43 double and single rooms here, all with air-conditioning and complimentary high-speed Internet access.
This is a place rich in history. Built in 1540, the Castello del Sole originally served as a hideout for followers of the new Protestant movement. A couple of centuries later it was recognized as a “gem,” and in 1900 it began operating as a simple inn with six guestrooms. Over the past century it has gradually transformed into the gracious, exclusive estate it is today.
The Lounge and Fireplace Lounge are beautiful spots to sit back and relax while gazing at Castello del Sole’s gorgeous grounds. Sip a cool drink or a cup of tea and let the world go by.
