Château de La Chèvre d'Or is located in the village of Èze, an "eagle's nest" some 427 meters above the Mediterranean. This medieval French town dates back to 2,000 BC, and the architecture is simply incredible. Here, you'll find Chapelle de la Sainte Croix, built in 1306, plus famous botanical gardens (Jardins Exotiques), shops and galleries. To get to Èze, fly into Monaco or Nice. Èze is a quick 15-20 minute drive along Moyenne Corniche (RN7) from either city.
