The luxury pavilions of Chief's Camp, are located deep in the Moremi Game Reserve in a region known as the "predator capital of Africa" that can only be reached by air plane.

Named after the Chief Moremi, the hereditary king of the area who used the lands as his royal hunting ground, Chief's Camp in northern Bostwana is located on an island created by the seasonal floodwaters of the Okavango. Twelve guest pavilions dot the edge of the Piajio plains in very close proximity to the resident wildlife populations.

As an intrepid adventurer, you know that the journey is as important as the destination. This holds true with Chief's Camp Island in the Moremi Wildlife Reserve, as it can only be reached by air.

In this corner of the Mombo Concession where wild dog, lion, cheetah and leopard rule the land, you're going to want to get out and meet them (from a safe distance, of course) as much as possible. Pole through floodways in search of hippo, take a helicopter tour over the river delta, fly through the bush on a game drive, or just peer off the deck of the Africology massage treatment room.

Located in the heart of the Moremi Game Camp Bostwana, Chief's Camp can only be reached by airplane. The camp has its own licensed private airstrip which is located approximately 2 kilometers from the camp. The two closest regional airports are Maun and Kasane which are 25 and 90 minutes respectively. Please note that luggage restrictions of 25 pounds per person in a soft-sided bag may be in effect.
