Overview
You are greeted by Ladies In Red, female concierges who embody Turkish hospitality.
Luckily, the hotel owners knew this, and ensured the illusion was maintained with impeccable service and royal treatment for every guest. Happily lost in the dream, the visitors wandered the palatial grounds and rose garden, swam and lounged around the infinity pool overlooking the Bosphorus, and dined on Ottoman and Turkish cuisine in the hotel's award-winning restaurants.
They relaxed with the authentic hammam bath, and slept in beds festooned with sensuous fabrics and pillows chosen from an extensive menu. Each night when they returned from their adventures, their beds were turned down, their rooms tidied, and Turkish delight was left behind for them. And they lived happily ever after ... until check-out day.

Honeymoon in Istanbul
Staying in the hotel gives you a feeling of living on an island in the middle of a city. You get this feeling because when you walk around the hotel the only thing you can see is the magnificent view of the bosphorus, trees and the hotel.
If you chose to stay at ciragan ask for a sea view room and possibly a 180 degrees view room the view when you wake up in the morning is amazing.
The island feel also comes from the fact that Istanbul can be very hot during the summer. However you don't feel that at the Ciragan since it lies right next to the water andyou get a cool refreshing breeze.
Another great thing about the hotels location is that you can take water taxis around the city. City trafic is crammed and taking i cab is often no faster than walking. wiht the water taxis you get around quickly and you get sail on the bosphorus and watch the city from the waterfront.
When you are there you shold definitely se the blue mosque, hagia sophia, the old sultan palace, the underground cistern and the basar, which are all placed within 20 minutes walk of eachother.
If you are out for a real splash you can also go heli seeing since the hotel has its own heliport and you can get both heli and boat transfer to the airport to avoid trafic.
