When the heartwarming rusticity of a Chilean winery gets re-imagined by way of sweeping modern architecture, you get Lapostolle Residence, a hillside design statement in this romantic wine region.

Lapostolle Residence offers a unique and exclusive experience, especially for lovers of wine. Four casitas (villas) are nestled into the forested hillside beside one of Chile's most esteemed wineries. The setting is bucolic and serene, and tailor-made for a relaxing stay far away from anything that doesn't grow on vines.

Casa Lapostolle is family-owned, and known for its premium Chilean wine, Clos Apalta. When they opened an updated state-of-the-art, gravity-fed winery, they designed the four casitas, each named after one of the varieties in the Apalta vineyard - Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot, Merlot and Carmenère. Each enjoys all the modern amenities of a luxury hotel, and a beautiful view of the valley and surrounding mountains.

There is a swimming pool and dining room area reserved just for guests, where you can take your meals and conduct a tasting of the local wines. You can also conduct a tour of some or all of the 12 other wineries in the immediate area.
