Thoroughly renovated in 1999, this romantic 18th-century palace looks like the set of a Bollywood film with expansive courtyards, sleek local white marble finishes, and semi-precious stone detailing. The hotel is close to many cultural and historical landmarks: Rajput palaces, Jainist temples and walled fortresses are all a short drive away, as well as eclectic shopping, dining, and sight-seeing.

The suites at Devi Garh are definitely palatial.
