The bar has live entertainment every night.
The modern and historic pleasures of Lisbon are within easy reach, but you're in no rush to abandon your west-facing view at Fontana Park Hotel. From the terrace of your spacious Fontana Suite, the last rays of sun illuminate the rooftops of the elegant Portuguese capital. Inside, all is minimalist and contemporary: clean lines, dark woods, and - a touch of drama - that Philippe Starck-designed color-therapy bathtub.
Built as a smithy in 1908, 139-room-and-suite Fontana Park Hotel has strong bones. While giving the renovated interior plenty of breathing room, architect Francisco Aires Mateus kept the bold façade and window frames. To soothe the eyes, designer Nini Andrade Silva employed a subtle black-white-and-grey palette with green and purple accents.
Linger over cocktails at svelte Fontana Bar, set in an inner courtyard with bamboo plants and a waterfall. The Portuguese and Mediterranean cuisine at Saldanha Mar is delectable, while Bonsai excels at Japanese classics.
