Near the beloved Rocks District and gazing out to Sydney’s harbor sits the Four Seasons Hotel Sydney, an upstanding pillar of exclusivity in this exciting city at the bottom of the globe.

531 rooms (including 121 suites) are sleek and somewhat masculine in their aesthetic. Dark Honduran wood, modern padded headboards, and relaxing tones make a perfect stage for throwing off your suit jacket at day’s end.

For further relief, find the spa, where Sodashi products, whirlpools, and clay treatments await. After, just float for a minute in the triangular pool, the largest of its kind in Sydney. If the casual poolside Cabana doesn’t have what your appetite calls for, try Kable’s, known for treats like lobster thermidor, and soft-cured ocean trout.

This was my second stay. Amazing views, rooms and club lounge. They just need to refurbish the pool and this hotel will be a true 5 star.
