Your Junior Studio Suite at Grand Hotel Continental is a virtual museum in and of itself. The ceiling has one of the most intricate frescos you'll ever see; every color and detail is bursting with new life since being restored by local artists. The silver gilded mirrors, trompe l'oeil, damask tapestries, and Murano glass lamps have all been restored to their late 16th-century aristocratic splendor. It's not surprising that this hotel in the center of Siena, Italy, is heralded as one of the town's most important cultural treasures.

Driving to the hotel by private car is possible however, visitors are not permitted to drive in the Piazza Salimbene without special permission that must be be secured by the concierge. Siena Airport, ideal for charter and executive flights, can be reached in about 30 minutes by car. Florence International Airport is about 70 minutes by private car.
