A modern architectural gem, the Hotel Casa Fuster is a key fixture on Barcelona's Paseo de Gracia. Originally designed in 1904 by the renowned Catalan architect Lluís Domenech i Montaner, Casa Fuster has been completely restored, offering travellers luxury accommodations and service.

96 rooms and suites all have large picture windows that bring in natural light, as well as furnishings in forest greens and deep blues to accompany the dark wood accented furniture.

The gorgeous Café Vienés, with rolling purple sofas, marble columns, and arcs serves tea and cocktails, and is popular with Barcelona's artists and intellectuals. Come on Thursday night when it's transformed into a jazz club. In the evenings, dine on elegant preparations of fresh seasonal products at the Galaxó Restaurant.

One of the privileged spaces in the city, El Mirador (Spanish for "The Lookout") has panoramic views of the city, including Gaudí's infamous La Casa Batlló.
