So wonderful that it has been declared an historical monument, the Hôtel Hermitage Monaco, overlooking the Mediterranean, epitomizes Monte Carlo luxury and elegance.

The way to live is to live well. Nowhere is this more evident than the Hôtel Hermitage Monaco, an historic Belle Époque palace, and a favorite among travellers to the south of France.

Here, elegance is second nature. (Where else would you find a winter garden with a dome designed by Gustave Eiffel?) As you enter the lobby, you'll spot Le Limùn Bar, where Monaco's elite gather for cocktails. Here you have access to Les Thermes Marins de Monte-Carlo, with two pools, a fitness room, hammam, saunas, and a solarium.

Whatever room you select - with views of the town, garden, courtyard, or sea - you'll find it brimming with luxurious details, including Belle Epoque stylings, silk curtains, Bulgari products, original art, and terraces with fabulous views of the harbour.

At Le Vistamar, sample imaginative seafood dishes based on what the fishermen brought in that morning. In the summer, look for the brilliant house bouillabaisse, best savored on the beautiful terrace.
