A historic property set in the heart of the French Quarter, Hotel Monteleone is an ideal base from which to explore New Orleans, with its upscale boutiques showcasing European antiques, estate jewelry, Oriental rugs, and art from around the world.

Four generations of Monteleones have dedicated their lives to making the hotel a sparkling jewel, and they succeed thanks to updated rooms and a staff that provides the personal touch and attention more commonly associated with smaller hotels. More classical than trendy, the Monteleone accommodates guests in 600 luxurious guestrooms and 55 suites that boast crown molding, high ceilings and overstuffed beds.

very nice for new orleans

perfect location in the french quarter, old style hotel with very lively lobby and bar. reception desk was not great, the rest of the service was friendly altogether a good place to stay when in new orleans.
