Along with the unique setting, these bungalows sport some seriously state-of-the-art technology. In all 40 suites, every convenience is just a push of a button away. A single "SIM-pad" lets you lie in bed and control how warm or cool you are, what you watch on the plasma screen, and what song you play. The minibar and espresso machine may not be remote-controlled, but you can stand up and grab a beverage on your way to your private terrace with the mountain and lake view.
Depending on when you drop by "Le Bar" at Hôtel Palafitte, it can be a casual spot for lunch, or a cozy gathering place with a roaring fire. But no matter when you're there, the food is always good, the drinks plentiful, and vice versa.
