Jamaica Inn

The year is 1956. Errol Flynn and his gregarious cohorts cackle wildly in the sweet Caribbean air. Onlookers smile at the sight of the actor so relaxed and casual amongst the public. This is what the Jamaica Inn is all about, though.

47 suites and two two-bedroom cottages sit dressed in colonial style, overlooking a private beach. Each is dressed in crisp, white linens, dark wooden furniture, and shades of periwinkle or eggshell. Thankfully, you won't find TVs, Radios, or clocks here. What time is it? What's on? Who cares.

So what do guests do? For starters, lounging on the beach while staff fetch you cool glasses of Planters Punch. Head out into the low waves with a snorkel or sailboat, or head in for a game of croquet or soothing treatment at the KiYara Ocean Spa. For those looking to explore, a wide range of tours are on offer from eco-cycling and equestrian, to polo and golf.

At any time of day, saunter over to the Dining Terrace. Afternoon Tea is particularly lovely, serving delicious little crustless sandwiches.
