You'll feel like you're in the middle of nowhere, but you're still only a few minutes' trip via tuk tuk to Galle, as well as some of Sri Lanka's best beaches.

The Thai-oriented restaurant uses only fruits, vegetables, and herbs grown on the estate, and also offer a variety of menus to suit their Weight Loss, Macrobiotic, Cleansing, and Alkalising programs.

On that note, take advantage of their yoga or pilates classes, as well as private fitness consultation. Kahanda Kanda is on the northeast shore of Koggala Lake. Guests generally fly in to the Bandaranaike International Airport in Colombo, a four-hour drive to the hotel. Alternately, there are private plane and helicopter services that provide the journey to Koggala Lake, approximately a 50-minute flight.
