Get ready to experience one of the last areas in the world largely untouched by people. Beneath a canopy of trees in the Kafue National Park, the Kapinga Camp has only four safari tents, situated on raised wooden platforms with expansive views of the plains.
Here wildlife is abundant: witness herds of buffalo running through the grasslands, as well as cheetahs, lions, and zebra. All of that just from your view from the massive wooden deck. However, venture further: Kapinga offers both day and night drives, where you can see an even greater diversity of wildlife.
The four tents all have wooden floors, sumptuous linens, and panoramic views. Cocktails and main meals are taken in the main area, where there is also a small shaded pool and campfire for night-time star gazing. Birders, take note. There are over 500 recorded species of birds here, so bring your binoculars.
