Architectural buffs will be delighted with the blend of Secession, Art Nouveau, cubism, and Art Deco details. Those with a reason to celebrate - or better yet those looking for one - should make reservations on the private fifth floor terrace, or invite a few hundred of your closest friends to party in the extraordinary Crystal Ballroom.

The Kempinski Palace is the centrepiece of the Mediterranean Seaside town of Portorož. Boating enthusiasts staying at the hotel could easily spot their yacht moored in Portorož or Piran Marina both less than five minutes away. Trieste, Pula, and Ljubljana Airport are 40, 50, and 60 minutes away respectively by private car. Guests arriving by private plane may wish to consider Portorož Airport which is only five minutes away from the hotel by car.
