Keswick Hall is nestled in the foothills of Virginia's Blue Ridge Mountains, on the outskirts of the historic city of Charlottesville. As the ravages of the American Civil War largely blew around the city rather than through it, much of its original colonial architecture and monuments can still be found, including Monticello, home of Thomas Jefferson, and James Monroe's 550-acre Ash Lawn. The Charlottesville airport is a scenic 30-minute drive north.
