Khwai River Lodge is situated in Botwsana's Moremi National Park, a tract of protected land whose fertile grass, fed by the massive Okavango Delta, attracts huge herds of African grazers and their predators every winter season. The lodge sits right on the beasts' migration path such that during peak season, you can often catch lionesses trailing wildebeest from your own balcony - no game drive required. The camp is accessible by scheduled flights from Johannesburg and Cape Town.
