Overview

La Mamounia's Andalusian atmosphere is so intimate and regal it might just intoxicate you. Draped in warm tapestries and lit with an amber glow, its walls radiate Arabian mysticism from top to bottom.

Spectacularly ornate in the authentic Moorish fashion, La Mamounia's halls and rooms evoke the deep romance of an era long past. The décor and antiques are disarming enough to say nothing of the elegant afternoon teas and ritualistic hammams offered each day.

Outside, La Mamounia's expansive grounds are carefully planned and tended to, resulting in myriad species of flowers blooming in concert with a cornucopia of fruit and olive trees. Each season, the hotel's park turns over a new leaf (and petal), making a wonderful and ever-changing Eden in which to stroll, do yoga, or meditate.

At La Mamounia the staff will encourage you to recline and relax the Moroccan way - on fat cushions, in a Turkish bath, or over a hot cup of exotic tea.
