Overview

On the southern tip of Baja in Mexico, Las Ventanas al Paraiso offers beach resort luxury and the unique beauty that comes from the meeting of desert and sea. And the tequila welcome's nice too.

Translated, the name Las Ventanas al Paraiso means "the windows to paradise." Living up to a name like that is a tall order, but this resort on the south tip of Mexico's Baja Peninsula does just that.

The rugged Baja desert gives way to the lush, green grounds that surround the resort, which themselves end at a meeting of white sand and blue water. Many of the suites, the outdoor swimming pool, and every table at the simply named The Restaurant share a stunning view of the sun-soaked Sea of Cortez. Keep an eye out for the whales and dolphins that frequently ply the waters in front of Las Ventanas al Paraiso with the aid of the telescope that comes with every room.

A variety of intoxicating surprises await you in your spacious (at least 960 sq. ft. each) suite, including a "tequila welcome," fresh fruit baskets each morning, and beautiful marble and limestone bathrooms. For an even higher plane of pampering, get a native-themed restorative treatment at the spa.
