Cozy & luxurious

Excellent location, great staff, and beautifully designed interiors. More could be done in the food & beverage department however; the breakfast buffet was disappointing.
La Burgundy in November
Christopher from Los Angeles gave it a 10 out of 10 - reviewed Nov. 19, 2012
When people asked about our Paris trip, I tell them that it was cold, rainy and expensive and it was PERFECT. And Le Burgundy helped with that. My wife and I received a very nice room, which was pretty large by Paris standards. I'm not sure of the type of the room but it was very, very nice. The room was one of the best rooms we have stayed in and we have stayed in many in the world. When we first arrived, a birthday/anniversary cake was in our room. That was a very nice touch. Service is a priority at the hotel and we saw this at the door, front desk, dinning room and the bar. The only negative was the fragrance in the lobby that was a little strong for our taste. But, other than that, it was perfect which made our Paris experience the same.
Very nice boutique hotel
Eduardo from Mexico gave it a 9 out of 10 - reviewed Oct. 15, 2012
The hotel is very nice, small but elegant. The staff is always helpful and polite. The concierge helped us with our plane reservation and confirming the restaurant reservations that we had.
The room is quite small, it's expected in Paris. The bed is very very comfortable.
The hotel is also in a dream location and on a quiet street.
The only thing that I could say was not expected is that our reservation was made with the VISA benefits and they did not honor any one of them. We didn't mention anything, but next on our trip we went to the Mandarin Oriental in Prague wich had the same benefits, and they honored every one of them without even having to say anything.
So at the end of the stay we decided to pay with american express instead.
It's a pity
Germano from Maracanau gave it a 6 out of 10 - reviewed Sep. 24, 2012
Nice and well located place, good food, but unfortunatelly it's personnel Who attend the guests mainly on the front desk is not skilled so the service is suffered, it's a pity!
Our Stay at Le Burgundy
Tom from Sydney gave it a 6 out of 10 - reviewed Jun. 28, 2012
We thought Le Burgundy was impeccably presented and the rooms are beautiful and extremely clean.
The area that the Hotel is in is perfect and very central to all the main haunts that we wanted to visit.
We did request a late check-out though (where even 15min-30mins would have been beneficial) but this was not allowed. This would have helped us out very much so because we were flying out of Paris that day and needed to be organised etc and wanted to enjoy the breakfast downstairs.
The breakfast was lovely however we found it very strange that eggs needed to be ordered seperately from the contintental breakfast and were an additional cost. Perhaps another breakfast package cost could be developed which includes the continitental?
There seemed to be alot of staff who rather than act like friendly customer service were more like bodyguards. This could have been because they were so busy though?
All in all we did enjoy our stay and appreciated the delgihtful room we were in and the proximity to all the places we wanted to visit.
Thank you
