Le Mas Candille was originally an 18th-century farmhouse. And the original owners must've been quite the farmers, because the building is enormous. That translates into big rooms which now come equipped with a mix of modern amenities and elegant antiques. The property is sprawling and quietly grand, and surrounded by inspiring Provencal countryside views.

Ask a fellow guest at Le Mas Candille what their plans are for the day, and you'll get a wide range of responses. Some will take the 10-minute drive to Cannes and the Cote d'Azur. A few won't go any further than the pool, where they'll take in the warm Provencal sunshine and view across the Mougins Valley. And others will confess to a Zen-filled itinerary of soul and skin-replenishment at the Shiseido Spa.
