Snorkeling in Bora Bora
Like something out of a daydream, Le Meridien Bora Bora perches beside, and atop, a crystalline blue lagoon. The beachfront bungalows, each with their own private water access and hammock, rest on the fine white sand beach amid coconut groves. The over-water bungalows, as their name implies, are built on stilts above the lagoon. Spotting marine life has never been so fun, as each has a glass floor with a clear view down to the water.
This luxurious leisure resort provides a relaxed atmosphere perfect for everything from romantic dinners, to deep-sea fishing, to snorkeling, to shark feeding (which happens at a safe distance from the lagoon). Le Tipanie restaurant offers a variety of cuisine, with a different themed buffet every evening. Seafood night is especially popular with lobster lovers.
A turtle sanctuary at Le Meridien Bora Bora is the only one of its kind in French Polynesia, and allows guests to experience swimming with the magnificent hawksbill sea turtle.
