Once home to one of Salta's most prominent families, Legado Mitica Salta is a renovated mansion in the city's historic quarter.
Each of Legado Mitica Salta's beautiful rooms was decorated to reflect the character of a remarkable historic figure or cultural group that played a major role in moulding the spirit of the Salteñan people.
Enjoy the charismatic El Caudillo - a room named after Martin Miguel de Güemes, a young general and caudillo who defended northwestern Argentina against the Spanish during the country's War of Independence. Or get fired up by the romantic La Escritoria, a room honoring the memory of Juana Manuela Gorriti, a writer whose passionate words and indomitable spirit helped forge the character of the new nation.
