One of the snowiest ski resorts in the world, The Chalets at Country Resort offers 45 luxury hideaways amidst 2,000 acres of fluffy white perfection - all set in Hokkaido, Japan.

A virtual bento box of modern Japanese chalets surrounded by endless, fluffy powder, The Chalets at Country Resort is only minutes from the Grand Hirafu snowfields of Hokkaido Island. That means travelers have access to over 2,000 acres of skiable terrain. Plus, this Niseko Resorts Group property has some of the largest powder snowfalls in the world.

The luxury ski chalets have two, three, or four bedrooms, so bring the whole gang for a ski vacation. And there's a free shuttle bus to Hirafu Village at the base of Mount Niseko-Annapuri, where you can easily access Grand Hirafu's gondolas and lifts. And after a hard day's skiing, soak your muscles in a traditional onsen (thermal spring bath), then feast on yakitori and ramen at a local Japanese restaurant.

One other thing. A lot of people don't know this is a prized summer retreat, so if you like rafting, hiking, or golfing, The Chalets are not to be missed.
